J reached out to me asking if I would be available to plan and capture a proposal in the Adirondacks while he would be on vacation with his girlfriend. After seeing that I had the date avaliable, I excitedly said yes! He had a vision for the proposal, romantic and intimate, with a violinist playing Taylor Swift Enchanted and Love Story, roses and candles all with a stunning background.
The Monday before the proposal I had a call with J to go over everything and finalize all the details. A big nor'easter was slated to arrive that week and the weather wasn't looking overly favorable for the proposal, especially with a live violinist in an open field. Plans were made to go on with the proposal even if it was raining and having the violinist shelter in a pop up canopy. The plans were finalized and we were ready for the big day!
Saturday arrived and the chance of rain had gone down to only a few percent, the weather looked beautiful, and the leaves were near their peek! J arrived early with his friend under the disguise of going off roading with his Jeep to get in place and make sure everything was perfect. About 40 minutes later, R arrived with some of her friends, absolutely unaware what was about to take place. Everything was perfect as she walked up, soft violin playing, her soon to be fiancé waiting for her in one of the most beautiful places in the Adirondacks. J got on one knee and asked R to marry him, she said yes!
